EGO offers training, workshops and performances to schools, colleges and businesses. We design tailor made projects to suit the needs of each individual client, from one off intensive training sessions to creating and performing a play in one week or working over a more extended period of time to implement long term creative projects.

EGO is Currently delivering “Project B” (formerly known as The Acting Out Project – cited in the White Paper for education as a model of best practice] offering the BTEC Diploma in Performing Arts for North West Schools in Birmingham and ready to deliver aspects of the Creative and Media Diploma EGO recognises the importance young people place on realising their personal goals, achieving qualifications and fulfilling their potential.

BEAR HUG – A Directors Workshop

(Co Production with Classworks Theatre)

Bear Hug written by Robin French and directed by Claudette Bryanston. A one day director’s workshop for young people, giving students the opportunity to work with a professional theatre company to understand the text and make directorial decisions, and direct each other with a contemporary script. At the end of the day up to six young people will have the option to perform to a public or schools audience. The is also an optional marketing workshop (pre-visit)

EGO has extensive experience of working with young people in Primary and Secondary schools, as well as Pupil Referral Units ensuring that the Every Child Matters framework underpins all our work and a belief that all children have the potential to succeed and should go as far as their talents can take them. EGO enjoys excellent relationships with various partners including: Extended Services for Schools Coventry, Education and Learning Services Coventry & Titan Partnership Birmingham.
