Oh yes we do! This is a great opportunity for those of you who are learning and can play their instrument but rarely get the chance to perform to anyone. EGO rocks is a place where young people work with adult musicians who have years of experience of playing and gigging with bands.
EGO rocks get together, decide a play list and perform regular gigs at local music venues, a mixture of covers and their own music, aiming to play entirely original material.
The band is not exclusive, if you’re just starting off you may just want to play one song in the gig, that’s fine, there will be someone else to jump in and take over until eventually you find you’re confident to play a whole set
We think it’s great if a group of young people form their own band, we will help them as much as we can by offering the professional mentoring and support they need to get going.
