EGO Performance Company’s tenth birthday is today!

I was going to write a blog about my thoughts on EGOs landmark, however reading member’s comments I really do feel I couldn’t have put it better myself.

So here are some of my favourite messages gifted to EGO on their birthday:

‘Happy Birthday EGO!! Well done and congratulations to Georgina and Corinne for working hard, persevering and bringing such wonderful opportunities and creativity into so many lives. Thank you!’ Neelam Jadav

‘We have seen many examples of the lives changed by EGO. Their approach is a wondrous combination of unconditional acceptance going hand in hand with expert-led striving for excellence. Go there with and open mind and be ready to learn.’ Gerald Haigh

‘A wonderful theatre company and live venue in Coventry going from strength to strength, providing opportunities for people of all ages to perform and develop their creativity and skills, and putting on great entertainment in the heart of the city. Congratulations to George, Corinne and the team for the 10 years of blood, sweat and tears it has taken to get EGO to this level, it’s a privilege to be involved as a trustee and I look forward to the next 10 years’ Danny Greene

‘Here’s to the incredible and often ridiculous sacrifices they’ve made along the way. I owe 10 years of my life to the awesome experiences, friendships and never- ending source of inspiration and support that EGO has given to myself and others. Here’s to anyone who’s ever been a part of this stupidly hard working team and to anyone who has supported it over the past 10 years. You’re all great, but a big shout out to Georgina & Corinne. #EGOat10’ Hayley Egan

Finally, I would personally like to thank EGO for the 10 years they have invested in my life. From a bullied teenager lacking in confidence in 2006, EGO gave me a place to be myself, meet others who had an open mind and make lifelong friends. Which brings me to today, a strong confident 25 year old woman who completed an apprenticeship under their guidance in 2015 and become part of the incredible EGO team… a full time ‘dream’ job. I really do owe my happiness to them for their support, encouragement, teachings and the friends they’ve given me along the way.

Thank you EGO for everything. Kiri Anne Lewis #EGOat10
