Super EGO began in 2006 to provide high quality performance opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds. We started out with just 15 members and have grown over the years until now we have reached our limit of 40, with a waiting list of potential new members. Ages range from age 7 to 70 and beyond.

You don’t have to audition and you don’t have to be a brilliant performer; in fact many of our members are really shy and nervous when they first start. All you need is the time and the commitment to attend regularly (especially when we enter into rehearsals for a show), the willingness to work collaboratively with everyone, and the motivation to really challenge yourself.

When you join EGO we promise that you will not only have the opportunity to develop skills that will help you to become a better performer, but we will provide you with an environment which will encourage and challenge you to grow into a more confident and creative person in all areas of your life.

Explore whacky and wonderful ideas, stretch your imagination, take creative risks in a friendly and supportive environment, feel your confidence grow, and notice your vocal and physical skills develop while your ideas contribute towards the development of a live performance. You’ll learn loads of new things from your fellow group members and will make strong and lasting friendships while you do it!

Super EGO Diary

What’s On

After a wildly successful (and wildly hilarious) Christmas production of, “Once Upon A Time In A Vest,” Supers are taking a break from devising to restage a show for performance in June. “Dr. Mooloo The Moosical,” originally devised and performed in 2007, is a clever and funny story set on a farm, featuring original songs. Music for the production will be provided by our Mooloo Band, who are already meeting regularly to rehearse.

Fees

EGO costs just £6 a week. Your £6 is all-inclusive, so drop in to one session, or join as many as you like! No matter how many times you drop by in a week it won’t cost you any more.  If money is tight and the fees are preventing you from getting involved please let us know, we may be able to help.
